Rumortoid: Dr. Feelgood coming to Rock Band DLC. photo

Music streaming site imeem has made mention in a post about a Motley Crüe promotion that the band's Dr. Feelgood album will be released in its entirety as Rock Band DLC. The date listed for release is October 14th.

There's no confirmation from Harmonix at this time, so I'm still calling it rumor.  That said, it's a rumor that I'm strongly inclined to believe. Rock Band had involvement with the Crüefest tour this summer and a recent single from the band ("Saints of Los Angeles") has already appeared as DLC.

I'm pretty excited if it's true, as Dr. Feelgood holds a special place in my heart. That CD was the first rock album I ever owned that I thought my parents might not approve of and probably led me down the road to degradation which has brought me where I am today. So, you can bet that I'll be singing power ballads in two weeks. How about you?

The album's tracklist is after the jump. My personal favorite is "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)."

[Via G4]

1. "T.N.T. (Terror 'N Tinseltown)"
2. "Dr. Feelgood"
3. "Slice of Your Pie"
4. "Rattlesnake Shake"
5. "Kickstart My Heart"
6. "Without You"
7. "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)"
8. "Sticky Sweet"
9. "She Goes Down"
10. "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)"
11. "Time for Change"

It is actually Motley Crue's imeem page and the Rock Band forum's topic on this reveal has not been locked so this is going to happen, it is just a matter of whether or not Harmonix changes the date on it's release

While I have loved what Harmonix has been releasing on the album/band packs, I have quite honestly just bought singles from them as opposed to in their entirety. Dr. Feelgood might possibly change that.

If this holds to be true (which I hope), Harmonix must be dead set on hitting that 500 mark, with what seems to be a weekly album as of late. I wonder what surprises they have in store this week (Still crossing my fingers for some sort of 'Hip Hop Band' pack - Or at least 'Dance Dance'/'Misery Business' that were rumored).

I'm in the same boat...I had received Megadeth's Rust In Peace and Dr. Feelgood as birthday presents a long, long time ago. And while my parents are pretty cool (my dad listens to AC/DC and Zeppelin, among others, and my mom just asked me to burn a copy of the new Metallica CD), I was worried about them seeing Dr. Feelgood and giving me a hard time about it.

This'll also be the first full album I download. Peace Sells... almost filled that spot, but it was voted down by my wife (she said she can't sing Megadeth...I'm working on that). She doesn't get a vote on this...it's mandatory for me.

Can't wait to rock out to "Kickstart My Heart".

Dance Dance was never rumored, but Misery Business was found in spa. bin file in the SXSW singles, so there is a chance that the song could get released soon.

Motley Crue was my favorite band when I was as kid. I grew up on that shit.
I NEED at least Dr. Feelgood and Kickstart My Heart.

While I've never been a huge Motley Crue fan, "Saints of Los Angeles" was fun to play so I'll probably pick up a few tracks.

I'd much rather have them release albums like this and Megadeth than something like Radiohead, for instance.

All I really want off that list is "Kickstart My Heart", but if you're a Crue fan, this is to be great news.
