Rumortoid: Chrono Trigger coming to Nintendo DS this winter?

9:51 PM on 07.01.2008 // Topher Cantler

Emphasis on the Rumortoid. A supposedly leaked scan from this week's issue of Famitsu shows what looks to be information on an "enhanced" version of Square's infamous classic, saying that it's headed for the DS. While there are plenty of you out there who may already NOT have Chrono Trigger on your NOT DS, the prospect of something like this is still pretty exciting, huh?

A translation of the scan roughly reads as "Square's classic fantasy RPG comes to the Nintendo DS, winter 2008." It then goes on to say that a price point has yet to be decied and all that sort of super-interesting nonsense. So is it real? Faked? And just how enhanced is "enhanced?" I suppose we'll know for sure when this week's Famitsu is released. We'll keep you posted, but in the meantime you can check out the gallery below to see the alleged scan in all its sh*t-resolution glory.

[Thanks, Buster!]

[UPDATE: Well, well. What have we here? ... Seems maybe there's something to this, doesn't it? Let us know what you think!]
