French reporter Sebastien-Abdelhamid recently interviewed Yu Suzuki, creator of the Shenmue series at the Monaco Anime Game Show, and has a bit of a bomb to drop on us.

Apparently, Suzuki may entertain the idea of crowdfunding Shenmue III, and/or a potential anime or manga series. The full interview with all of the details is coming soon.

I would support this effort in a second. As many people know, Shenmue II was one of my favorite games of all time, and learning how this story concludes would be a proper resolution for one of the biggest cliffhangers of all time.

Make it happen Suzuki!
