Rumor: Xbox 360 Dashboard updated May 19, adds PayPal photo

According to SOURCES de la MYSTERY, Microsoft is preparing to roll out the Xbox 360 Spring Dashboard update on May 19. Most of the changes won't have any visible effect on the user, save one -- a new PayPal option.

The update is alleged to updated around the world in six waves between the dates of May 19 and May 30, in order to achieve "maximum deployment." The update will include support for an "updated" Microsoft disc format that will house future 360 games, while Avatar Kinect is supposed to arrive as its own download on May 27.

Microsoft has refused to comment.
