I suppose SotC would be better as an actual framerate would exist, but I don't see the need for companies to HD Remix every damn game ever. Ico and SotC both look spectacular still, even if they were made on PS2 and one game almost a decade ago.

GoW Collection has sold well over a million copies now, and with the current crop of PS3s not having backwards compatibility, Sony should be lining up to re-release some of their old series as HD upgrades.

I'd buy this is a heartbeat, as well as perhaps a PS3 MGS Collection, a Zone of the Enders Collection, and a Fatal Frame Collection (PLEEEASE!).

Or how about a Clover Studios Collection? Something like Okami + GodHand + Viewtiful Joe. INSTA-BUY!

Other good options could be Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, the Prince of Persia Trilogy, Onimusha, Devil May Cry.

Ooooh! And how about a Dark Cloud Collection! You could even throw in Rogue Galaxy for good measure!

I know a bunch of re-releases will end up annoying some people, but these are all pretty much games that at any given time I'm looking for an excuse to replay. Trophies and upscaled graphics would easily do it for me.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I was rid of my PS2 when Shadow of the Colossus came out, and then heard nothing but good about it. I almost bought another PS2 just to play it...

Well, since my backwards compatible PS3 just died about a month or so ago (DAMN YOU FFXIII!!! Why did you have to kill both mine and my friend's backwards compatible PS3s?), and I gave my PS2 to a friend when I bought the PS3, I'd buy both those games day one AND I'd even force my friends/coworkers to buy a copy on threat of daily, non-stop nagging, bullying and straight up physical abuse if they didn't.

Huh? I think most people "whining" about this are people who never got a chance to play the originals.

I expected this to happen, its a no-brainer for Sony.....I Just picked up the original Ico in great condition on Ebay for $40 and Sotc for 20.......But I'll still probably get this when it drops.

Upon seeing Shadow of the Colossus, I immediately went out and rented it. This is significant, because I didn't own a PS2, and so went over to my friend's house and played the hell out of it. We were both in awe.

If this happened, I would definitely buy it simply to own a copy, and I've always wanted to play ICO. If it's a rare game in the aftermarket, I see no reason why anyone interested in it wouldn't be excited for this collection.

Yes, I missed these games so a HD collection would be very, very welcome.
