I've completed SOTC, only to realise you're meant to replay it to get special items a la Zelda.
I've always wanted to play ICO.
These games both covered the flaws in their GFX on a last gen system really well - it would be really cool to see them in higher resolution textures and in HD.

Too many games, I wanna play new stuff and not rehashed graphic updates, as good as the original games are.
I already own ICO and SotC, and if I wanted to play them so badly I'd just stick them in my PS2.
Besides, The Last Guardian really needs no further hyping for me :)

Apart from a quick look at ICO at a buddies house I am ashamed to admit that I've missed out on both of these games.

I've been replaying Shadow, and I forgot how much I loved this game, and also how bad the framerate takes a hit when you do almost anything.
Remaking these in HD with a constant 60 FPS would make that game SO much better, it would be incredible.

I would absolutely buy them. Probably more to do with the fact that I have a slim PS3 that doesn't play ps2 games and I got rid of my ps2 years ago now. I miss SOTC though, that game was awesome.

@SC I'm the same w ICO, I've seen a bit of it at friends', but never experienced it for myself. SOTC I have played the hell out of. :)

There are only a few games that I'd purchase in this format, but this would absolutely be two of them. I'd probably get it day 1.
The only others I can really think of would be MGS2/3. (PLEASE!!!) My PS2 finally died on me a year ago and I've been dying to play these again.

This is well worth it becase
1 - Ico is already somewhat hard to find
2 - The US release saw the subtitles and watermelons cut out... perfect time to put it back in
3 - SotC, while more common, is held back by the limitations of the PS2. Even if it were just rereleased to harness the processing of the PS3, it would be more than worth it.

I own both, but I'd buy an HD collection in a heartbeat. ICO might be the most amazing game I've ever played, so I would definitely support it. The way ICO handled lighting and sound, for it's time, was incredible. I really hope it would transition well.

@LOVEoo: Dumb comment man. You don't know ppl's situations. They have never played the game, they may have played it but don't have it anymore and just have it to collect, may not have a PS2 anymore, and these games came out years ago, there are probably plenty of gamers who have never played these great games. Also, what does DRM have to do with releasing games? I see the connection with dlc abuse and rehases, but DRM? Really?

I would buy this thing in a heartbeat. I've been wanting to play Ico on the PS2 forever now, but cannot find it for a reasonable price for the life of me. So this would be perfect.
I missed out on both so please do. Since everyone raves about Shadows Of The Colossus (the only time I've seen it in action was the Adam Sandler movie "Reign On Me") I've wanted to play it.

I'd rather see the MSX titles remade for this generation. If they're going to go all out and remake Metal Gear Solid for the Gamecube, then why not do the same for the lesser played games in the series and bring all new appreciation to those titles?
