The
Tales of Vesperia trailer has hit the internet with an air of mystery: Namco-Bandai has not announced which console the upcoming RPG will be released for.
Gamersyde has pointed out that it is a 720p video, therefore ruling out the Wii. This can only mean a next-gen RPG, which delights this gamer to no end. On the official site, Xbox 360 is listed in the keywords, so it certainly points in that direction, but we'll have no way of being sure until Namco-Bandai makes an official announcement.
More RPGs for the 360 and the PS3 will certainly satisfy a large demographic of gamers waiting for them. I can only hope to see this trend continue, as playing
Eternal Sonata was a treat despite its flaws. Until then, my handhelds and their solid RPG selection will continue to be my best friend.

If it is being released on 360, I hope they have online co-op during the battles or something similar. All the "Tales" games were able to have multiple players during the battles, so I don't see why they couldn't do it again. Although they'd have to come up with some clever way to keep everyone entertained outside of the battles.
Everyone watching one player walk around the world and dungeouns = lose.
If it is a PS3 game, then I will buy it the day I get a PS3

But graphically, this looks like it should be on the Wii because I feel Eternal Sonata looked much better than this on the 360 and that's already out.

Innocence is amazing, but Tempest sucks. Phantasia is actually a little worse than Tempest. There are PSP ones too, but my sister doesn't own them yet so I haven't played them.
This isn't the first time they have been involved with the franchise. Production I.G. has worked on anime sequences for the entire Tales of series.
They're fun though, kinda like Star Ocean lite.
