Rumor: Surfer Girl is at it again with Resistance: Fall of Man 2 plot details photo

We don't know who this Surfer Girl thinks she is, but she's convinced us to subscribe to her RSS feed ... even if she might be pulling this stuff out of her a** (which remains to be seen). In the meantime, we'll play along with her little game, and pass along her latest bits of videogame related information regarding Insomniac Games' unannounced (but obviously, and likely) Resistance: Fall of Man 2

According to the Surfer Girl, the sequel will take place entirely in the United States, save for the first and last level. The protagonist (who may or may not be the first game's hero, Sgt. Nathan Hale) deals with those nasty Chimera, this time in locales such as San Francisco and Chicago. Allegedly, vehicles will be included in the multiplayer this go around, including air vehicles. She also notes that the third game will end as a cliffhanger.

With this one, Surfer Girl is reminding me of Dionne Warwick and her psychic friends, dealing in generalities and obvious assumptions. We'll check in with Insomniac Games to see what they say about this one, but chances are we'll be met with blank stares followed by suspicious laughter.

Seems like a logical progression of the game. I really don't remember the game mentioning anything about the states. Hopefully this time around they include color.

@ brainderailment

The U.S. was going to be the last, to fall to the Chimera. Making the U.S. Mostly intact.
The only thing I'm puzzled about, I thought that the Cloven were going to be the next big bad enemy. Because the Chimera Mother was destroyed...

The Cloven were eating the Chimera & Human dead & lol were Russian in origin.

I got too much to look forward to already, with out this adding another dent to my wallet. I'd like to think that it will be worth while, but really, I'm just sick of looking forward to stuff that only gets pushed back or passed over... This game may be inevitable, but that's not enough for now, it's going to need to be amazing to get off the shelves in serious quantities.

It's our Halo...It will sell as many copies as there are PS3's. This launch title is still better than anything that has come out for PS3 since.

@Handicapable: What about Warhawk? I’ve been playing the hell out of it ever since I got it, and I haven’t touched Resistance since I got God of War II in March...I’m at the beginning of the last level, “Tower”, but I’m not compelled to finish it.
