Rumor: Nintendo to reveal Animal Crossing 3DS at E3 photo

Next week at E3, Nintendo is expected to reveal its Nintendo 3DS hardware to the world, and with it the first batch of software.

According to our sources, Nintendo has been quietly wooing developers and publishers with a handheld 3D demo of its popular franchise, Animal Crossing. Word has it that the game will be revealed next week as a launch title for Nintendo's handheld. When contacted with a request for comment, Nintendo's response was as expected: "Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation."

As a launch title for the 3D, Animal Crossing seems like a fair bet. The DS title, Animal Crossing: Wild World, was a massive success; as of March 2008, Nintendo said the title had sold 9.53 million copies worldwide. The publisher even bundled the game with the Nintendo DS in 2006.

Nintendo's E3 press conference takes place on Tuesday, June 15 at 9am Pacific. We'll be there, so keep your eyes peeled for next week's live coverage of the event.

Animal Crossing is my ultimate guilty pleasure game. I also cannot wait to get a 3DS (and the subsequent 3 other models that will follow the first version)

Ok so people don't seem to care about animal crossing, I think its a decent time waster. Whats important is they are showing off a 3DS game .... which means they are hopefully showing off the hardware that plays said game and the 3DS is interesting as hell.

It would be a bit soon to release another Animal Crossing wouldn't it? The Wii version just came out in Nov 2008, but I'm sure the next one is in development for like a 2011, or 2012 release. I have never played a Animal Crossing in my life, so its really no big deal to me either way!

It's been two years, it's a brand new system and it needs a launch title to appeal to both Nintendo nuts and the casual gamer, not to mention that all three games are fundamentally the same.

Personally, I'm sold. I didn't enjoy City Folk, but that's because I think like Pokemon it works so much better on the go. So do want.

Come to think of it though, weren't we shown demos of Prime Hunters, Mario Kart and Wild World prior to the DS launch? Then we had to play Pokemon Dash and Super Mario 64 x 4 for about a year waiting for them >.>

So this is going to be a 3D-enabled port of the Wii port of the DS port of the GameCube game that was ported from the 64DD original that got canned? I can't wait.

Maybe they'll actually do something cool with it but they've had so many chances to move the series forward and failed to even try.

Yes, but that's fine because it means all the good titles will come out at the same time as the second SKU, which will invariably be the best one. I love Nintendo handhelds, but I always wait till the second SKU.

It's been a few years since I've played Animal Crossing, I might be ready for some more by the time the 3DS is out. But more importantly, I miss F-Zero. I expect an announcement related to that next week, Nintendo!

Yeah, no. The Wii one left me wondering why the fuck I bothered. The DS one was perfect and the GCN one before it was great. I don't need another if all they are adding is 20 songs and a few new neighbors.

i'm always up for another AC title. i took the advice of all the critics with the last one, and couldn't have made a bigger mistake. i waited until just a couple of months ago to pick it up. City Folk is easily the best game in the series (even when you account for the lack of nes titles). there are a ton of new rare items, all the great reasons to play that are found in previous titles, and you can bring your Wild World inventory with you? amazing. the great thing about AC is that it so closely mimics real life. when i pay off my house upgrade, for that split second, i get the same feelings i feel in real life when i pay off a large debt. it's amazing design that's found in no other game. the only thing that's missing, is the tropical island gameplay from the first title. i wish they would have implemented more connectivity with the ds. anyway, all you naysayers can suck it, cuz AC is an amazing series of games. anyone still playing City Folk, please feel free to hit me up with a FC.

First game - heard about it, bought it later. Really awesome.
Second game - my first Animal Crossing adventure. Fantastic that it's portable, lamented the missing mini-game classics I'd heard about.
Third game - Wow, this is... the same game thrice-over, only now it isn't portable anymore.

You're going to need to change a whole lot about the game fundamentally to hook me back into that series, Nintendo.

Things is, you can't really change a lot about it without compromising what it is. It's all about adding stuff upon what is there already. Only problem is that the Wii title added too little while, for obvious and unavoidable reasons, it took away the portability.

I can see it being a wonderful title.

Yeah, I think this new Animal Crossing is going to be wild... really wild!!! I mean, think about it; Animal Crossing City Folk was a combination of Wild World and Population Growing. They added new features, but nothing too major. City Folk was supposed to be for newcomers of the series. That's probably why when I first got a hold of the game, I felt an emotion of depression and dissapointment come over me (which was 2 years ago). Though now, I still play it and realized that it's still fun.

But anyways, this game for the 3ds is different. This one is for fans of this series. So because of this, they're not going to hold out on us. They're probably going to bash our faces with truckloads of new features. To me, this is good news. ^u^ But I hope my assumptions are correct.

Let’s find a new way of success and its most appropriate time to break your old habits and admit that using tables for layout is outmoded and lazy. It's time to move on to CSS layouts, I have admitted this fact and going to focus on it after my IT related exams such as 000-m221 and the 1y0-a16 at the last but not least 1z0-542. Lets go jump into the stream of wisdom like my 000-m80.

I've been thinking for a while now what they will showcase the 3DS with. Will be disappointed if this is true.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of AC, but I had my fill on the GameCube and DS. Don't see myself getting excited about another AC for a good long while.

Yup, agreed. They'll need to do a radical revamp of the series for me to buy another entry. To be honest, that would only constitute having more than six villager personalities, but that won't happen.

I've exhausted the current Animal Crossing layout between the GameCube and DS versions. A completely new everything would be necessary to convince me to buy another one; the Wii version is one of the laziest efforts in living memory from Nintendo.

My co worker and I ordered lunch for pick up. My order was wrong. What was in the box didn't look very appetizing so I gave them a 70-350 call and explained that I received some thing other than the tacos I had requested. The girl who answered the phone was very kind. The day manager who I was 70-351 transferred to was not. She asked me what was wrong with what I got, why I couldn't eat it and was very argumentative. She acted really annoyed that I was 70-401 unhappy that my order was wrong. Seriously lady, you guys made the mistake. I just 70-403 wanted tacos ;( . Finally after her ARGUING with me and making me describe the fried mess in front of me- she says she will have the order waiting in 70-404 30 mins. At this point Ive lost my appetite and call back and ask to have a refund waiting for me instead.

A graphical user interface is a type of user interface item that allows people to interact with programs in more ways than typing such as computers; hand-held devices such as MP3 Players, Portable Media Players or Gaming devices; household appliances and office equipment with images rather than text commands. A GUI offers graphical icons, and visual indicators, as opposed to text-based interfaces, typed command labels or text navigation to fully represent the information and actions available to a comptia security+,itil certification user. The actions are usually performed through direct manipulation of the graphical elements. The term GUI is historically restricted to the scope of two-dimensional display screens with display resolutions capable of describing generic information, in the tradition of the computer science research at Palo Alto Research Center. The term GUI earlier might have been applicable to other
