Rumor: NinjaBee compilation disc coming to 360 this fall photo

According to a listing on GameFly, a NinjaBee Critic's Choice Collection for Xbox 360 could be on its way to stores this October. While it's only speculation on our part, a package featuring NinjaBee's Xbox LIVE Arcade titles -- Outpost Kaloki, Band of Bugs, among others -- seems likely.

NinjaBee won't comment on the title, likely caught off guard by GameFly's listing of the title. Retailers and GameFly have historically outed unannounced titles; the history speaks for itself. Except for the fact that GameFly still seems to think Project H.A.M.M.E.R. is coming out for the Wii. (Really guys, it's not.)

NinjaBee has delivered some solid XBLA titles, and it would be a shame to have them limited to download only. As far as we're concerned, a retail collection of their games is a welcome addition to this fall's gaming line-up.

While I take no issue in releases like this it does serve to reinforce that digital distribution cannot take a strong enough foothold on the marketplace to allow it to stand on it's own. Larger publishers should watch sales of titles like this (or rock band track packs) to see some actual figures on these releases.

It seems that digital distribution is tougher when it comes to console games than PC games.

too bad I already own the only game I'd care enough about to warrant this. Band of Bugs.

Band of Bugs seems awesome, I should pick this up as I am unfamiliar with their games. =)

I would like to see more compilation discs of XBLA games, great titles there, but I f'ing hate microtransactions, and I hate Microsoft Space Banana Dollars (I like how that sounds, totally bananas!) even more. Full retail, on the other hand simply cannot be overseen, and I love the idea, the more games on one disc, the better.

I wish they'd put all 5 of this summer's XBLA lineup on one disc.

...or allow you to custom make your own disc online and pay to have games you want burned on...that's the world I want to live in

Amazon is the way to go if you hate buying MS points... you pay what the game costs and get a download code....I bought Peggle for a friend that way and wasn't left with like 158 extra points or some odd number like that.
