Rumor: New 3DS with larger screen to be announced at E3

Ahead of Nintendo's E3 press conference tomorrow, Nikkei is reporting that a new 3DS model will be announced at the event, and it'll have a bigger screen. The report states that the new 3DS model will have a 4.3-inch screen, or roughly 1.5 times the size of the current 3DS screen. It also goes on to state that there might be a release in North America, Japan, and Europe as early as this summer.

We'll likely find out Tuesday morning if all this is true, but it wouldn't be the first time Nikkei has revealed info ahead of Nintendo's announcement. Nor the first time Nintendo added bigger screens to an existing handheld ...
