Better turn out real. Or im fucking up those knuckleheads at EA. I need new NBA JAM!!!!!!!!!!! On my fucking 360 to be specific (also on ps3, wouldnt wanna leave anyone out).
As a PS3-only owner, I really hope this is true. And of course I don't know how much work it takes to port games like this, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that porting it over to PS3 and 360 would benefit them financially.
You know, I'm going to say it. Why can't Wii get an exclusive without people bitching it would be better on PS360?

I don't think it'll necessarily be better. I'll probably get it on Wii anyway, if it's cheaper. But this is just one of those games where it makes sense to have it available on all platforms.

I agree with what you're saying, but sheppy IS right -- Whenever a game comes out on the Wii, people complain that it should be on other systems. Then those same people complain that the Wii has "no games," even though that's fucked up. I think this game in particular should in fact be on everything, but sheppy's point is still valid.

I probably find people complaining about Wii exclusives as annoying as you do. It's almost as stupid as saying the Wii has no games. I'm buying one in the next week or so, and I'm overwhelmed by just choosing which two or three games to bring home.

And 3rd parties wonder why they can't sell games on wii as well as nintendo.
Here's a thought EA... perhaps they don't sell because everyone knows you will just port an HD version with extra content to the HD consoles for cheaper! (ie, dead space)

ya know, my buddy has both normal and tourny editions for the snes, and i have found out that over time, this game sucks.

If it does come to 360 and PS3 it sure as hell better have HD graphics and not be a straight port of the SD edition.
It would be great if it was coming to PS3/360. I don't care about SD vs. HD graphics, I'm more concerned with having good online support, and the Wii is the last system I want to play online with. Been waiting years and years for a remake of one of the best arcade games of my childhood. Don't ruin it with a Wii only release.
360/PS3 are NOT HD consoles! 720p is slightly higher definition the 480p. Not true HD running @1080p.
if this is true, my anticipation for this game has dropped significantly. i could care less about a game that has shoe horned motion controls, and games that are cross platform this gen are basically that. is there any third party devs that are willing to create a good game from the ground up for the wii? there still hasn't been one AAA third party exclusive on wii, and it's been over three years now. this news is lame.

@Dv8thwonder - You clearly don't know what you are talking about. I train people how to sell TV's and what all the technology is. And you are 100% wrong. Plenty of games on 360 and PS3 run at Full HD 1080p, but anything 720p and 1080i are HD as well. The Wii is SD or ED 480i, 480p. And once again you are wrong, go troll your ignorance else where brosef!

So did this ever end up getting released on the 360 and PS3? I haven't played this year's version, freelance content writer but I used to play 02 back in college a lot. Great games really, advanced to the point where they're still fun to play but reasonably simple for casual gamers to pick up and rock.
