Hrm, interesting. This would go with Itagaki's game announcement tonight, wouldn't it? I guess we'll find out tonight.
Also, to explain the Mass Effect 3 thing. I seem to remember something about 2 and 3 being developed simultaneously or at least directly back-to-back, and considering they seem to have the combat system and engine modifications where they want them minus tweaks (From what I've seen and heard, anyways), it'd obviously be much quicker than the space between 1 and 2, which wasn't that long anyways.

It'll be nice to see Dragon Age and Mass Effect sequels, but we basically already know those are coming. What make me really excited would be a Dead or Alive 5 reveal. I know the series doesn't get a lot of respect because of its spin-off shennanigans, but I've loved it ever since the very first game.

Bioware keeps saying that Mass Effect 3 will come sooner then you expect so I was kinda expecting it to be there.
A DOA game without Itagaki?
The only good that can come of it is if it becomes a real fighting game. All the ones under Itagaki were not, so maybe this is a new beginning.

I'll take DoA5. Please be released for the PS3! I Don't want to have to wait for DoA5 Sigma or whatever like Ninja Gaiden.
Can't say I'm too hyped for Dead or Alive 5. The series stagnated around DoA3 when they were just interested in adding more ladies with big chests and ninjas into the mix. DoA2 really took the 3D fighters to school back in the day but then that was about it.

They're gone - I loaded up the page, Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age II have been replaced with Bulletstorm and Crysis 2.
Since both have been confirmed before anyway, it's not that surprising. We already know DA2 is scheduled for Spring 2011... I would guess ME3 is for holiday 2011 or early 2012.

If you're going by the feb. 1st, 2011 release date found in the DA:O Awakenings expansion, that'd be a winter release.
However, SW: TOR comes out Spring 11'.

I'll be amazed if DOA5 shows up. The DOA community has been begging for it for quite a few years now, but Itagaki always stuck to there being no DOA5, or at least if there was going to be a DOA5, it would be a new story/series reboot and would be considerably different to DOA as we know it. With Itagaki gone... who knows really. I guess Koei Tecmo have the ability to put out a game called DOA5 if they wanted, but to me it just doesn't seem like anything that will ever happen. Itagaki created DOA and even he was cagey about making another one, I struggle to believe Koei Tecmo would bother.

I agree. And the thing is, that's 3 Bioware releases in a year. That sort of seems like putting all your eggs in one basket. That'd leave 2012 with pretty much nothing but maybe an expansion and some DLC.
