Rumor: Live Arcade on PC by Christmas photo

Thanks, Santa. This is just what I always wanted. Now I can play Live Arcade games with my non-Xbox 360 owning friends. Better yet, I can play Uno with my mom!

CVG thinks that we should expect to see the Live Arcade that we all know and love show up on Games For Windows - Live by this holiday season.

1UP mentioned that Microsoft was about to release dev update for Games for Windows tools "in anticipation of Xbox Live Arcade games rolling out in holiday 07."

Destructoid has heard similar rumblings (and maybe even saw it in action), so a pre-Christmas is definitely not out of the question. In fact, we'd bet that Uno will launch at the same time.

Hey, a web cam would be a nice stocking stuffer for mom.

Wow thats pretty gay. I mean, what are they just going to take all the features of Xbox live and put it up on Games for Windows for free?

So then why are they even selling 360's anymore?

I'm saying that, knowing that I'll Impulse Buy™ Lumines Live and all of it's packs, without a second thought.

Oh this is perfect. Now i can actually PAY for games that i usually play for FREE.

This is so like....totally awesome.

Sometimes i just wonder why the fuck don't i own a Mac or run Linux instead of Windows, why i don't just get a PSWii instead of an x360/PC.

Then i look at the games roster and realize, resistance is futile. At least till Sony gets a better line up and Nintendo starts taking hardcore gamers more seriously.

MS have shifted all the retards from the x360 division to Gaming for Windows. Meh. Lame.

Sweet. As an owner of a pretty decent PC, this is just another example of why I don't really need a 360. Thanks for making the decision to spend my money on something else easier, Microsoft. ;)
