Rumor: leaked retail list mentions Zack & Wiki 2 photo
     Capcom

Cubed3 has a supposed leaked retailer's list of Q4 2008 to Q1 2009 European Capcom releases for Nintendo consoles. We don't know if this list is legit yet, but there are definitely some interesting entries within:

Wii

  • Bionics

  • Devil Kings 3

  • Mega Man Scramble Battle

  • Moto GP 08

  • We Love Golf

  • Zack & Wiki 2
Nintendo DS
  • Ace Attorney 3

  • Ghost & Spy

  • Horror Adventure

  • Mega Man Star Force 2 sku 1

  • Mega Man ZX Advent

Zack & Wiki 2? Yay! We like that game. What's with the late 2008/early 2009 timetable on We Love Golf? Nick and I played it at TGS; it has to be done. Get it out there already!

Finally, while "Horror Adventure" is probably some kind of placeholder name for a new game from one of Capcom's established franchises, I'd absolutely love if they released a game with that name. They need to make it as comedically generic as possible.

A new Zack and Wiki is a requirement. The original is amazing, and I loved every minute of it... even if it was pretty goddamned difficult

Devil Kings 3?

How the hell can they talk about a Devil Kings 3 when America didn't even get Devil Kings 2? Let alone they're working on Sengoku Basara X...

Capcom's strange. But at least we're getting Zack and Wiki 2. That's already a must,

Did Zack and Wiki really sell well enough to get a sequel? I know vgchartz isn't an "official" source, but they've got it at 100K Japan and US, which is at most USD $4mm gross sales. Maybe those games are really cheap to develop.

I can't believe I'm the first to comment about the Mega Man game for Wii. "Scramble Battle"... Does this mean no Mega Man Legends 3 for us?

Zack & Wiki 2 would be PURE win!

I love Zak & Wiki, but I would rather see them put their mature adventure gameplay innovations into a game that doesn't look and sound like it was made for toddlers.

I appreciate the unique Japanese style (though wiki still became annoying), but you can't expect a game like this to sell well in America with the type of marketing they gave it.

I'll gladly "sell out" if it means a reenergized adventure genre. Hell, I'd sell my grandmother if it could make Monkey Island Wii happen.

Capcom marketed Zack and Wiki? Coulda fooled me...I didn't see one ad for it anywhere.

Also, Wind Waker.

I hope this turns out to be true. The Wii needs another Zack & Wiki game.

As long as they cut the sword fighting out I'll be VERY happy to see a sequel.

Nice to see that one of the few good things on the shit heap is getting a sequel, new IP's need support.

I think We Love Golf comes out in Japan next week, so they're done with that - now it's just the localizations teams that will still be working. Anyway, Variable Gear is 200% correct. Golden Sun 3 must come. But luckily we've been seeing a LOT of good signs lately.

That list is full of shit. ZX Advent is already out along with "Ace Attorney 3". And Capcom doesn't have a thing to do with the Moto GP series.
