YES! Was thinking of getting this on ebay the other day. Very stylised and fun. I'll be very happy if this is true :-)
I'd give anything for this game on psn. Heck I'd purchase it on both my psn accounts to just give sega another sale on it.
I dunno, JSRF was pretty damn fun, but I heard that JSR is harder, has a time limit, and doesn't have Yoyo... that's 3 strikes against it for me

JSR and Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure are good, but if Power Stone 1 or 2 are announced and playable on Partnernet, I am not above sneaking into the home of someone who owns a dev 360, killing them, and wearing their skin to play it.

I would definitely buy this for 360; JSRF was ok, but the original blows it away in all areas. Such a fantastic game.
I dunno if you'll get far with the holding guns to everyone's heads. You could get a few of us at a PAX, though.

Wasn't Smilebit dissolved into Amusement Vision and some internal Sega team? AV went on to make the fantastic F-Zero GX so things could be worse... But the original team was still split up.
Though I'd give it a chance if they brought Hideki Naganuma back for the music along with a team passionate about the original.

Dammiiiit... I was hoping Future was going to be released. The sequal was so much better compared to the Dreamcast original. Hopefully we'll get to see JSRF released on the xbox originals soon after :/

yes, Smilebit was dissolved a long long time ago, but that doesn't mean the key people on the team can't get back together for another game. a lot of them are still at sega. Naganuma did the music for Sonic DS.

Would love to play through this again, loved JSRF but they fucked up my boy Garam's original look, dug more tracks in it too. Jurassic 5 is a badass group and I probly never would've heard of them otherwise, same goes for my love of good JRock. I hope Sega gives it the sequel it deserves eventually.
I hope this does happen, as I have not been able to play JSR as I have never owned the right console.

Might get it, I prefer JSRF though. Or they could do a remix :-) Which would be awesome. Oh, and throw in some cool avatar awards like they did with Afterburner Climax and Im definitly in.
Someone should steal one of these devkit consoles so that we always know when a game is being released like this.

I loved the original on Dreamcast, but I was never able to finish it. I was (and still am, actually) stuck at the part where Combo and Cube ask you for help. That level is way too fucking hard, especially with the guy chasing you around.
