I swear Valve hire a professional troll to make sure the fanbase will never be quite content. I swear, if Valve weren't quite so amazing we'd all despise them for their quirky antics.
At this point, its HL3 or nothing for me. I'd rather see episode 3 as a prologue included with HL3 than a standalone. Releasing episode 3 on its own just seems kind of insulting.

From what I understand the concept artwork that was leaked was made in 2008, but only recently leaked.
At this point, Valve better have perfected the digitized blow job for me to be interested. Free blowjobs or GTFO.

The one thing I like about Valve us that they are at least talking about the game unlike a certain game like Battlefront 3 that Lucasarts refuses to comment on. Thats sad..., but at least Valve is lovable enough to shoot down our speculations after it builds.

Cool art. I never gave a shit about Half Life since the story was such nonsense and so I will continue to not give a shit.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the just put it on steam one day, no announcement, no fanfare, just HL3.
Yeah, like Episode 3 could ever live up to the hype after all this time. The fans are doing themselves a disservice by constantly bringing this game up. Just forget about it and Valve might just bring it back. At least that way the surprise of the announcement might live up to the years of expectations.

I'm pretty sure an employee at Valve made a comment on the Steam Forums about how these were legitimate. And he's the one who also said that they were very old, done in about 2008 or so.
Valve is literally the biggest fucking troll on planet Earth. FIVE FUCKING YEARS and we get nothing about Half Life. At least with HL2 you were getting E3 demos and shit. Yea, that took forever and the beta got leaked but give us something god dammit. This is fucking insulting. You developed a handful of other games, churn out a bunch of DLC, make all these alternative business models, but you can't be bothered to support the fucking fanbase that ALLOWED YOU TO EVEN GET TO THIS POINT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I won't doubt that Valve at one point were indeed working on the game, but that it ever intends to be finished... that I severely doubt!
