Rumor: God of War 4 arriving in 2012

Rumor: God of War 4 arriving in 2012 photo

Kratos has pretty much done it all, having ridden on the backs of Titans and executed the Gods in a variety of needlessly brutal ways. Nevertheless, one's work is never done in the world of videogames, not when there's profit to be had. Who's up for God of War 4?

A new rumor has bubbled to the surface, suggesting that a brand new God of War game will arrive in 2012. As is often the case, this rumor comes from an ANONYMOUS SOURCE who spilled the beans to British magazine PSM3

It'll be interesting to see what they do next. God of War is a series about extremes to the point where I'm wondering just what a new game could do in order to top the last one. Nevertheless, there's no way Sony would let such a popular series stay buried, so there's little doubt in my mind that this rumor has some truth to it.

My guess? Kratos ... in SPAAAAAAACE!
