Rumor: Full Smash Bros. roster leaked

Spoilers ahead!

For a very long time now, the Smash Bros. community has been on the edge of its seat as Nintendo slowly dripped reveals as to the roster for the upcoming Wii U and 3DS games. One huge leak may have smashed that strategy into oblivion and pulled back the curtain on the remaining fighters that will complete the 2014 Smash line-up.

Last week, someone posted an off-screen shot on 4chan of what appeared to be the complete character selection screen from the 3DS version. Today, videos surfaced of some of the not-yet-announced fighters in-game, supporting the likelihood of the initial leak.

If the leak is to be believed, twelve more characters will be revealed by Nintendo. New to the franchise will be Bowser Jr. (with clown car), Dark Pit, Duck Hunt Dog, and Shulk. Returning fighters will be Dr. Mario, Falco, Ganondorf, Jigglypuff, Mr. Game and Watch, Ness, R.O.B., and Wario.

Given this information, it's very likely that this leak is real. NeoGAF users have compiled the sources and drawn connections that bolster its authenticity. But, of course, nothing is official until Nintendo says it is.
