@ VGFreak- The first Crash Bandicoot game did well enough to warrant a sequel on the Wii. Neither game made big money, but they didn't cost much to make either (I guess).
Me thinks speculation could have lead you there. At the same time EJ HD by GameLoft is scheduled for release on XBLA, PSN and WiiWare and thats the same direction old Sega fav's like Sonic 4 are going. So to think that it'll be Wii exclusive is a little short sited and naive. It's almost fool hardy to lock your self in to a single platform unless you are an uber title like Halo or a long time first party game like Mario/Zelda. *yawn* Wake me when there is real news like a price, or screen shots or video.
I don't even remember Earthworm Jim 3D. Where the heck was I while that particular disaster was happening?
@ Brock Hatfield- Did you read the post? Do you see the word "exclusive" anywhere in there? Or did you se the part where I said that it would be a good idea to put the game on XBLA, or better yet, go multi-platform?

I think Earthworm Jim 4 would make a fantastic piece of 2D DLC. And, unless they'd have plans for Wii-specific controls ala World of Goo, I see no reason why it couldn't be multiplatform as a downloadable game.

Isn't Interplay a husk of the company it once was, yet is claiming to work on Earthworm Jim 4, Descent 4, MDK 3, a Clayfighter sequel and a Fallout MMO?
That'd be a lot of games for any publisher/developer to work on, let alone one with such a downshift in resources as Interplay.
I'd love to see all these games happen, but I remain skeptical.

To me that screenshot of 3D doesn't looks SOO bad. It looks pretty close to conkers bad fur day or a little worse than banjo kazooi.

@ HEL105 - In that case lucky you. Wish I could repress the memory of my parents getting me Superman 64 for my birthday one year. They were not tears of joy that day, I can tell you that for nothing!
First X-com, then Descent, and now possibly Earth Worm Jim; the logical conclusion to this is another Journeymen Project game.
