It's basically a given that the next Xbox was going to have "Kinect 2" functionality right out of the box. MILO LAUNCH TITLE GUYZ.
Well it's to be expected that the next Xbox is going to be Kinect-enabled right out of the box. I just hope it's controller will still be the main focus point.
@hel105; I do hope you are wrong. If that's the case, I know I will be waiting quite a few years/price drops to pick one up, as I have zero interest in kinect. I like my controller just fine
Sounds horrible, but I'd lol for quite a while if people paid 250 dollars for a camera that was replaced after 2 years and was only really good for dance central.
I find this hard to believe but I'll keep an open mind. I just picture people having to super exaggerate what they are saying and it's hilarious.
If my lips look like those in the picture, I'd probably get surgery... or I already had some and it went wrong?
The Kinect is an amazing piece of technology. It's just not an amazing piece of *gaming* technology. The stuff modders are doing with it in real life are way more interesting than any of the MS shovelware.

Why not? I doubt anybody is arguing over extra features. If it is that powerful then it gives you more gesture based actions without having to use arms, legs or hands. doesn't sound like a bad thing to me.

Because there are other things you can do with your lips.

Also, it may allow for more accessibility to the mute. Give them the convenience of voice commands without actually requiring a voice. Which I guess would just make them commands.

This seems pretty badly translated, but huge grain of salt for:
1)Cabled straight through any number of technologies
2)phenomenally high res data straight to the main processor and straight to the main RAM
and finally 3)and ask, what do you want to do with it?
I doubt it'll do any or all of this.
If this thing exists at all it just proves what I've said all along about the current Kinect being nothing but an expensive, made to own, tech demo, with the Kinect Labs being nothing more then free, or paid for, beta testing. We literally paid extra for the developement of the new Kinect/xbox.
I also think its safe to assume Sony's got the same idea for the Move, but we'll see where those rumors go when they happen.

How much room do I need to be able to play that? If they can make it work without having the need to have a dedicated kinect room, that would be a feature I want in the new one.
