Rubber ducky game coming to PS3's PlayStation Network ... seriously

4:04 PM on 02.08.2007, World Famous 26 comments

     PSN

This is not a joke: That rubber duck sim that always showed off what the PlayStation 3 can do has been adapted into a game. Brief details and pics from GameLife:

Phil Harrison shows off a downloadable game with ducks in a bathtub. Anyone who knows Phil's history knows the meaning here. Coming to the PlayStation Network in a few weeks, played entirely with Sixaxis motion sensing.

On February 12, 2007, men across the country will wear their zippers at half-mast to honor Ms. Smith's memory.

Er... back to topic.

Could someone located at the summit slap some sense into Sony? The rubber duck demo as a game? WTF! Thank you Sony is like you have a sensor droid inside my brain. Unfortunately is currently located in the "I dont give a fuck" section.

Anyway why the heck they dont just release the DEMO and call it a day? the DEMO is supposed to work on a PS3 remember?

Problem is the ducks don't even look half real, they're way off from the uncanny valley, it's like we're back on PS2

Mrs. Smith RIP. Your Jugz will be missed.

OT: Rubber Ducks in a Kiddie Pool. I just hope they'll do a Wii Port.

Is it just me, or did anyone else think that interview was bullshit? None of the good shit was addressed, like why the fuck is Sony losing a bunch of their "exclusive" titles.

@bhive01:

No problem, I had lots more but figured I'd done enough damage already. :)

OMG rubber ducks? That's for little kids! Little kids + playstation 3 = ducks in a bathtub= pedophiles?! PS3s will get children molested? OMG just like the freaking DS! Let's pray that they don't combine a way to chat while we play with our ducks in the tub!!!

This is pointless. We all know this will just end up being announced for Xbox Live Arcade soon anyway.

It's pointless to get excited over this "exclusive" title. We all know this will be announced for 360 soon anyways.
