I guess he prefers the iPhone games model, where customers pay next to nothing, and should expect nothing in return.

I have backed a few kickstarters but I really think the rewards for backing extra money are getting out of control.
It seems like a huge amount of time and money is spent after the kickstarter ends on sorting out dumb prizes and not the project the whole thing was supposed to be about.
It's particularly bad when all the updates on a page months after the kickstarter ended are all updates about getting the rewards done and nothing about any progress made with the project.
Kickstarter needs to change their policy on some of this stuff.

Kickstarters could go downhill when EA and Ubisoft start doing it and no matter how much you pay, make you buy it for £40 ($60). If they do start doing it, I bet its going to be with Good and Evil 2..... damn you Ubisoft!
