I guess it might attract some attention to the 3DS from casual players, but I doubt that many people would care about having the same game on a different, bulky platform...
I am so happy to see another indie game get such an awesome reception.
It's not really my kind of game, I got bored of it after a couple of hours, but it is a great game and I wish them all the best!

They should make it like minis where you only need to buy it once and it will be playable on both Wii and 3DS or DSi.
Well.. if games are still in the 200 points to 1200ish points range, then I don't see the games settling at a comparable price. And then I won't bother. I have an iPod and will get them for cheaper if they aren't $1 or less on the 3DS.
Also, I doubt Nintendo will allow sales like the iTunes store, and every other console maker does on their network services.

I don't understand the massive popularity of Angry Birds. There is nothing to it. No skill or challenge. Nothing. Other popular casual games, like Farmville or Doodle jump I understand, but Angry Birds, I don't get it. Oh well.
Are these straight ports or will there be other features like on plants v zombies? And 3 games? I only have 2...

It's amazing how something so simple can sell so well. Let's just hope it's not a "port" of the iDevice version, I want to see them do something new with Angry Birds.
i really don't understand the draw of angry birds, but to each his own i guess. i'm very glad that they aren't going to try and sell it to me as $50 cart though...

I have to say, this seems like completely missing a trick. If they released it on DS, they'd get the DS, the DSi, and the 3DS crowd, and all with the opportunity to sell it as a proper retail release.
That, or the very least make is DSiWare too. Why diminish your audience by gunning exclusively for a format you're never going to take advantage of?

Isn't Angry Birds like... ya know, those flash games which I played around 5 or 6 years ago?
I wouldn't be suprised if flogging flash games isn't the sole reason the iPhone doesn't have Flash until jailbroken.

I did not find Angry Birds to be enjoyable at all. I want to see if they'll make some cool new PataPon or LocoRoco for the NGP. I should really just stop playing portables, I don't get my money's worth.
