You can put this one under the "probably not going to happen" file, but British retailer GAME is listing a Rogue Squadron game for the Wii. GAME does not list VC games and the price point is at £29.99, so this does seem to be a full retail release of some sort. If it is real this could mean a brand new Rouge Squadron or a re-release of the original game.
For me, all three games in the series were a blast, but I still have the fondest memories of the original. If this is a port/update I'm hoping it's either the original or a compilation of all three. Then I hope it sells really well. Then I hope they make a new one. Then I want a puppy, but that doesn't really have anything to do with this.
Don't be too alarmed by the publishing credit on the GAME page. Activision Blizzard has published LucasArts games in Europe for a decent amount of time now, if not always.

Lets just hope that if this is a new game there are no levels with Ground combat...
Won't get my hopes up yet.
Even though I still have all three games on their respective consoles, I would still consider buying this disc. It would be a definite buy if they increase the resolution and add widescreen support!
I loved how they managed to keep the unlockable Naboo Starfighter hidden for so many years!

An up rez-ed version of any of the last 3 games really isn't what I'm looking for after all this time. I'm not even convinced Rouge Leader would look better on the Wii, what with the missing effects from Metroid Prime Trilogy.
