PlayStation 3 owners got the short end of the stick with Grand Theft Auto IV, missing out on the game's episodic content that littered 2009. Responding to a PS3 fan who asked why the the Black Box o' Blu-ray got shafted, Rockstar has promised that Sony's console will be getting its dues very soon.
"We know that it continues to be an often-asked question -- and believe us, we understand the frustration of PS3 owners like yourself who haven’t been able to play any of our most recent releases," states the developer. "All we can say is that we at Rockstar promise to be very good to you with our releases in 2010. Please stay with us and stay tuned!"
Of course, Rockstar says this now, but this is before Microsoft has opened its wallet. Let's see how committed Rockstar is when another truckload of cash and drugs pulls up outside its office.

That's true, except the fact that it's completely false.
GTA1&2 on PS1 and PC. GTA3, VC and SA on PS2, Xbox and PC. GTA4 on PS3, Xbox and PC.
At what point in that history is it exclusive to PlayStation?
The title change, is how they get away with "Only On 360" on the retail 360 boxes.
Besides i Knew bout this before Rockstar even released the 360 version.

Also all the content on 360 will eventually be on PS3. I think we have all known that since it started.
I honestly thought everyone had come to the realization that GTA4 was terrible.
The story of PS3 in 2009 = Killzone2, LBP and Uncharted 2.
Im liking the games way more than the dlc...
Though when you hear reviewers across the board saying that Forza 3 is the best racing game ever made, letting that slide is me being generous.
Or racing games don't count?
I'm not saying it shouldn't be mentioned, because it should, but merely that they're easy to forget sometimes I think. Forza looks fantastic, just isn't my cup of tea anymore.
Anyway, on topic, I was bummed about the DLC content not coming to PS3 but then I realized I never really liked GTA4 much anyway so it's no biggie.
Uncharted 2 is fucking amazing though, and was probably the best video game of 2009, so enjoy it, but don't crow - it's annoying for WEEBOLS like me ;o)

Sure, but they have to apologize at this point to appease the growing player base on the PS3. It was a smart business decision, I suppose, to strike that huge deal with Microsoft - sure - at the same time it's a smart business decision to tell millions of people they're thinking about them too. *shrug*

You forgot Red Dead Redemption, one of the most anticipated games of 2010 for a lot of people. As long as they churn out solid titles nobody is going to care.
Or it could mean that they'll be getting the DLC from the 360, the same DLC that spurred me to go out and buy a 360 last year, just so I could play it.

Gta 3 was exclusive to PS2 because Xbox didn't exist and so was Vice city, San Andres was release exclusive to PS2 for about 6-12 months before finally being release on the xbox. Then after that the stories were release exclusively for PS2/PSP. GTA 4 was actually the first Multipaltform game in the GTA series to actually be release in both consoles at the exact same time before Microsoft decided to give 50 mil for two episodes.

Now Microsoft that is desperate, will try to get rockstar to undo the deal.
Steve will go crazy when they say no, and threat them by having a gun pulled to their head just like what they did to bungie when they said that they wanted out of the contract that they had with Microsoft and wanted to be on like the good old days when they weren't exclusive.
