I was one of the biggest Capcom fanboys around, but they've really been shitting the bed over the last few years. It's sad.
Whatever, I still enjoy a good amount of new-ish Capcom games. Monster Hunter, MM9 and MM10 are all awesome, and I still REALLY like Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising.
To me, it just comes down to Legends 3, plus the fact that their fighters are just not as good as they used to be. When Darkstalkers inevitably gets announced, I expect to be utterly appalled.
But fact remains that in the 80's and 90's they were simply untouchable. Tokuro Fujiwara and Bengus, Setsuo Yamamoto...they just had talent everywhere you wanted it. I miss those days.

I share your disapointment word for word. I've been a life-long Mega Man fan and to me, this feels like an even bigger slap to the face than the cancellation of Legends 3 and MM Universe...
I hope Capcom takes notice of all the negative press this reveal's had so far and realize they need to give their mascot some proper care...

I'd have been happy with Legends 1 and/or 2 coming to PSN. (Maybe 64 for VIrtual Console as well.) But no, we get an interesting plot with a decent looking dude wrapped up in a half-baked game engine that recycles sprites and looks shitty.
I've becoming convinced that Capcom's loaded Mega Man into a mortar and has forced a blind man to fire it.. Because its hitting the mark everywhere except where it needs too.
Dammit, Capcom. Just... dammit. You are completely clueless about the desires and demands of your customers.

@Tony, trust me its not Megaman Capcoms intent on making people hate, its Capcom themselves they want people to hate.
@Tony_Ponce Sorry for what's happening to all you Mega Man fans. I'm a Super Mario fan, and also kind of got really screwed with the 25th anniversary bullshit (I mean, look at what the fucking Zelda fans got). But this is ridiculous. I feel sorry for all the Mega Man fans out there who do their part to support the franchise, because this is not the way a company should ever treat their loyal fanbases. This is bullshit, Capcom. You're really killing Mega Man.

However, i will say, as a loyal/dedicated fan, as much as it would make me
happy/HAPPIER to see a remake of any kind (over an iOS "ap-game"), we cant... NOT appreciate it!
Yes, many (many) doors have been slammed in our faces, however, all i can hope now, is that this new game
is addicting as hell! ( so kids get hooked like that garbage angry bird game ) Maybe that will cause some
kind of "poke-mon" like explosion to the society of mega man.(LAUGH BECAUSE ITS FUNNY)
At this point (without bashing) i would rather have an ap on my phone that when you press the "plasma cannon button",
the phone yells outs "SIZZLING CURCUITS!"

Capcom, you used to be my favorite company. But this ... this has pushed me over the edge. I'm going to have to give up on you for good. This means no MvC4, RE6, SF5 or anything else for me.
I know people make vows like mine all the time and break them, but I'm going to damn well make sure to find my entertainment elsewhere from now on.

Personally I would prefer Megaman to be in Breath of Fire's situation. If the choice was between things like this ios game or being rarely talked about, I would definitely choose the latter. That's just me though.
