Rocketmen: Axis of Evil hitting XBLA, PSN next week photo

Some of my fondest gaming memories have come from Total Carnage, Robotron: 2084, and other similar multidirectional shooters. As a result, I've got fairly high hopes for the upcoming downloadable game, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil (800 Microsoft Points), which is headed to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network next Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Like any good arena shooter, Rocketmen will feature co-op for up to 4 players (both on and offline). You'll also be able to customize your character's appearance, weapons, and abilities, with multiple races and classes to choose from.

Last, but certainly not least, the visual style of Rocketmen is looking freakin' sweet from where I'm standing (er, sitting). Graphics may not be the deciding factor in whether or not you purchase this game, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Anyone else interested?

I didn't care until I saw 4 player co-op.

If it's even halfway decent, consider it a buy from me.

Uh, how much is 800 Microsoft Points in real money? If I get it it'll be on PSN.

Because of the online co-op I'm gonna be all over this. That is, unless the demo completely stinks on ice.

Wow, a game based on a pseudo-miniatures game that failed miserably, that's a new one.
Interesting to see they've gone with the barely fleshed out characters rather than the spaceships combat, which was the original game. Will be keeping a very close eye on this, if it's even half as good as the original it will fucking rock!

As innovative and revolutionary as Robotron 2084, Smash TV, Mutant Storm Empire, Mutant Storm Reloaded, Assault Heroes, Commando 3, Geometry Wars, Time Pilot...every other XBLA game.

Too many great games have come out for XBLA recently, so unless this one gets really good reviews, I will be skipping it.

I like the visual style of this game, but I was really wondering if I needed another XBLA clone. However, I always trust the Workman.
