It's more or less impossible not to love the slimes from Dragon Quest and their contagious joy, as far as I can tell. It was only natural, then, that people seemed to dig Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime.
As reported by andriasang, a new installment in the series has been announced for Japan -- there's even an official site to prove it. It's dubbed Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: Daikaizoku to Shippodan, with confirmed support for multiplayer (Street Pass and Wi-Fi) and 3D.
Square Enix has said that there will be ship-versus-ship battles, which sounds like a step in the right direction. Please bring this to the States, powers that be.
