Rock out with Guitar Hero III demo at Game Crazy
Are you ready to rock? Destructoid reader and community member, Chris "The" Martino, tipped us off earlier that his local Game Crazy had a playable demo of Guitar Hero III in their Xbox 360 kiosk. By kiosk, of course, we mean appears to be a tiny monitor on a small table. The demo looks to be similar to the one that we've seen at the various trade shows over the past few months. Game Crazy also was able to snag one of the new guitar controllers. Totally metal. Chris says he feels like the game has gotten easier, and that the button timing was a bit more forgiving. Well, he's right -- the "window" to his the fret buttons has widened a bit, but let's hear you complaining about that when you're trying to beat that damned Dragonforce song. We made a few calls around to some of our contacts at GameStop and EB Games, and it appears that they're not aware of the demos hitting their locations. So it looks like unless you have a Game Crazy in your area, you're going to have to wait for the demo to hit Xbox Live towards the end of the month. Or, you can buy the demo next week ... and it comes with a free copy of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground! Chris tossed some pictures up on his blog, so feel free to head on over there if you want to feel tiny pangs of envy. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Too bad there's Gamestops all over the place where I'm at. In fact, I don't think I've ever SEEN a Game Crazy. What is a Game Crazy?
