Next week's Rock Band Store update finally brings Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" -- a song far better than "White Wedding" (yes, I said it) -- to the game.
Additionally, Tom Petty makes his debut in the game with two tracks, both of which you're probably familiar with unless you want to make me feel like an old man and/or live under a rock.
Also, other stuff!
- Billy Idol - "Mony Mony"
- Billy Idol - "Rebel Yell"
- Fleetwood Mac - "Don't Stop"
- Fleetwood Mac - "World Turning"
- Jet - "She's a Genius"
- Tom Petty - "I Won't Back Down"
- Tom Petty - "Runnin' Down a Dream"
All of those tracks will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for $1.99 and 160 MS Points respectively. If you're a Wii owner, or wondering about what's coming to Rock Band Unplugged next week, all of that's after the jump.

I feel the Fleetwood Mac choices could be better, but then again, I'm also bitter about Go Your Own Way being just another track I want thats on Rock Band 2, a game not available (by normal means) in NZ.
Thanks for yet another comment about Rock Band updates!
I'm not a Tom Petty fan, but Running Down A Dream is a good song.
I'm disappointed by the JET and Fleetwood Mac choices too. Whatever. I need to save my money anyway.
;)
And still waiting for some joy division! Nick, talk to your harmonix friends, make it happen!
me: Fusk yeah, "The Chain" and "Gold Dust Woman" right?
Them: Nope.
me: FFFFFFFFU-
Dexter also read my mind, while I'm grateful for the Billy Idol tracks this week, "Dancing With Myself" needs to be released as DLC already.
