Rock Band DLC: Disturbed, Silversun Pickups, and more photo

"Awk, awk," folks. A second pack of Disturbed hits Rock Band next week, along with music from the Silversun Picksups, The Mother Hips, and TRUSTcompany.

Disturbed Track Pack 02 ($5.48/440 MS Points for the pack, $1.99/160 MS Points/200 Wii Points per track)

  • "Meaning of Life"
  • "The Game"
  • "Voices"

Single Tracks ($1.99/440 MS Points/200 Wii Points) per second

  • The Mother Hips - "Third Floor Story"
  • The Mother Hips - "White Falcon Fuzz"+
  • Silversun Pickups - "Panic Switch"
  • Silversun Pickups - "Sort of"+
  • TRUSTcompany - "Downfall"+

+ means its downloadable and playable in LEGO Rock Band

Harmonix and MTV Games tell me that the Disturbed tracks are from the groups 10th Anniversary edition of their album, The Sickness. That album is ten years old, and that means I'm getting really, really old. If Medicare will pay for any of the tracks -- and I can get myself out of this wheelchair to turn on my Xbox 360 -- I'll considering getting a few.

What say you?

Any word on how the Rcok Band Network is coming? There's a lot of foreign artists (and some US ones) that I hope to see there.

The Game is the best song. I'm definitely picking up that one... actually. All three songs are awesome. I wish they'd put that whole album up because Droppin' Plates would be hilariously awesome to play.

Also, I work with the guitarist from TRUSTcompany. I should invite him over for Rock Band and let him play his own song. Interesting.

Also, The Game. You lost it.

Mother Hips make my day. Disturbed is always hit or miss. I'd have to hear them.

I'm not usually the "If it sounds the same it sucks," guy but if you scroll through the Disturbed tracks in the Rock Band store you can literally string all but the last song's sample into one song and not even tell a difference.

Just sayin'. Some of their tracks are really good and all others just plain suck. It's album filler.

I've Aleta been humming Silversun Pickups all week so I may pick those up on an impulse. Never heard of TRUSTcompany but by that name I feel like I'll dig their style...maybe...hopefully...Plastic Beach comes out soon everyone!

For the record I don't know who Aleta is or what I meant to type there.

Steve Jobs has taken over my phone.

Nothing interesting, might check the singles out but I don't think I'll be buying anything.

Disturbed is music to fuck and/or fight your cousin to. It's the kind of music you play when you are pissed about a NASCAR race not going your way.

Silversun Pickups...hmmm....I like Panic Switch but the game kinda sounds like an emo lawn gnome.

Sweet! "The Game" is my favorite Disturbed songs, and the other two are great as well.

Siversin Pickups are pretty good, especially if your like me and you like bands like the Smashing Pumpkins or My Bloody Valentine.

Trust Company are ok, nothing special and Disturbed.....well.....once you've listened to their first album you need not listen to anymore. Your basically getting the same thing over and over again.

"Single Tracks ($1.99/440 MS Points/200 Wii Points) per second"
lol two errors my friend $1.99/160 MS points not 440 MS Points & Per Track not per second.

I love the Silversun Pickups, though I don't think those tracks from Swoon are Rock Band material...but do people still listen to Disturbed?!

@Xzyliac: TRUSTcompany were a young band who kind of straddled emo and nu-metal back in early '00's (kinda like Taproot). They kind of imploded as quickly as they arrived. The video to Downfall is so funny, not because of the crap angsty music, but cos it looks like the guy is doing massive farts in people's faces (and not the 'trailing whirlwind of rage' I think the video was trying to portray).

More numetal/mainstream metal? I'm getting a tad sick of it.

Can we please get some progressive/symphonic/gothic/ANY DAMN THING ELSE please

I've give my junk for a Symphony X album pack, maybe Paradise Lost or V Mythology Suite

Awesome! Glad I decided to hold off and not finish off my 15 Artists That Rock Band Needs More Of blog series last night 'til after I saw what comes out this coming week, because I was totally about to throw Silversun Pickups up there. (Personal fave of mine)

I have to agree though, less Swoon and more Carnavas/Pikul EP woulda been cool. Still, Panic Switch is one hella catchy song (And was gonna make my list anyways), and it's still Silversun irregardless, so I can't complain.

And I have a very strong feeling that I know and possibly really like that TRUSTcompany song. Sounds like something I might have listened to a lot in my younger, baggy pants days.

I highly approve of this DLC, except for the Disturbed (I don't hate Disturbed, I'm just tired of them). I've been waiting for Panic Switch to come to RB forever, and I love the Mother Hips. I haven't heard Downfall since it came out, but I like it.

Now this is the DLC week I've been waiting for. Getting pretty much all of it.

That TRUSTcompany song is definitely one of my favorites and is also extremely nostalgic for me. I'm also in a hardcore Silversun Pickups loving stage right now. Looking forward to next Tuesday.

Stop hating Disturbed people, these three tracks are all from the best album they made...The Game being one of the best songs.

Oh and the guy that said Silversun Pickups wouldn't be good for Rock Band is an idiot. Well Thought Out Twinkles is an awesome song to play, and Panic Switch would be just as good.

Though, I am kinda pissed about no "The Royal We." That would have been a killer 3-pack

I wonder if the Mother Hips' tracks are any good. The other ones they had as DLC were pretty good (Red Tandy in particular) but I got one of their albums and was "meh" on it after a few spins.

Fuck disturbed.

@Stahlbrand-

Honestly, if it's even half as good as Red Tandy I'll be happy. That song became one of my favorite drum tracks of all time almost immediately. It's a shame that a quick look at the general consensus on the Rock Band forums shows that pretty much everybody hated that song...don't see how anyone could hate that extended outro trip.
