"Oh, whats that, you need more coins and stat!? Don't worry, just buy these new songs from us and we'll give you just what you need!" Fuck You Harmonix. It's practically a free to play game they are asking you to pay for, and then they don't stop annoying you to buy more and more and more and more. It is one of the worst examples of what is going to happen to ALL paid games in the near future. Nobody is making a fucking fuss when these greedy publishers and developers are shoving micro transactions into paid games, so naturally publishers are jumping at the chance to do it.
Nobody made a peep when Mass Effect 3 launched with micro transaction in a game you just paid over $60 for. Nobody made a peep when Battlefield 3 patched in micro transaction for a game you already paid over $60 for. Next thing we know, they are all going to do this. They are all going to start asking for more money after the initial payment. And they are going to do this by making it hard to play the game without paying.
They will start slowing down unlocks in shooters, for example. Where it used to take a few good matches to unlock that scope you want, not it will take triple the time, but don't worry, you can just pay $2 and unlock it right away! Oh, you want hollow point bullets for the next match? Well you COULD play the game for another 5 hours to unlock them naturally, or just pay us $3 and have them for good!!!
This scheme is dirty even in a free to play game, but in a PAID FUCKING GAME!?!?!?!?
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a casual.
Then they came for the multiplayers,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a multiplayer.
Then they came for the solo completionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a solo completionist.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.[/i]

There are Achievements for DLC only because the game has 500 instead of 400 points.
400 is requiered by the game without DLC. 100 for the DLC.
They did the same with Rock Band 3, which has 1250 instead of 1000 because of DLC.
Now, I'm pretty sure we'll never get anything like that again. Why can't we just get a stand-alone game and no "server-side" or DLC bullsh@#%*!
Harmonix was great back in the days of Amplitude and Guitar Hero 1. They even pioneered DLC the right way in Rock Band 2. Rock Band Blitz just makes me genuinely sad that thy've jumped the shark so grandly.
