Rock Band: AC/DC pack to hit non-Walmart shelves soon photo

Remember that AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack that was released only at Walmart last November? Well, if you missed out or couldn't bring yourself to walk into the mega-retailer's stores, good news -- you should be able to get it elsewhere this November.

GameStop is listing the track pack for shipment on November 4 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and PlayStation 2. If GameStop is correct, the 18-song disc (all live tracks) will run you $19.99; when the disc hit Walmart last year, it cost anywhere from $29.99 to $39.99. So if you paid that much for it, be happy knowing you were a year ahead of the pack on this one.

These standalone discs for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have their own trophies, and all of the tracks can be transferred to your hard drive for play in Rock Band 1 or Rock Band 2. Neat, right? (No, that doesn't work for Wii or PS2... sorry!) Also of note, like 90% of the songs have those "big rock" finishes, because AC/DC doesn't know how to calm the hell down.

Didn't this happen already? Or maybe it was just announced a while ago.

Haha, so true. And they start you off on Thunderstruck which, if you're on guitar, is a wicked kick in the cunt.

As much as I love AC/DC, I don't think I'll be buying this, because most of those songs are live versions. I hate live versions.

The solo/end rock part in Let There Be Rock (Live) is seriously like 2-3 minutes long. Sure, it's nice because you can get like 200,000 points with a full band in just that end part, but man...it's tiring.

Anything during the Bon Scott years would be good. Also, where is the Guitar Hero Pink Floyd? Or Led Zepplin for that matter.
