Activision has released five new videos for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, detailing a selection of characters that your kids (or the kids you're pretending to buy them for) can purchase as toys and scan into a console as videogame characters.
My personal favorite is the shark dude above, although the guy known as Ghost Roaster deserves a mention because he is called Ghost Roaster. I mean, that's a badass name right there.
As I've said before, my love of the nineties has drawn me to this concept, which smacks of gimmicky nonsense we had back in the golden age of plastic garbage. The game itself looks like a solid little hack n' slash title as well. Hopefully I can get my hands on it soon, because I'm definitely going to review it.
I'm hoping on this being fun. I'm still not a fan of having to buy the toys in order to get new characters, but if the game is fun I'll get used to it.
it does look like it MIGHT be fun but with spyros name just being part of the subtitle and it not playing like a spyro game, why use the spyro name at all? do kids these days even know who spyro is? Also, The only good spyro games were made by Insomniac so i'd rather see the brand laid to rest
Wait, I don't quite understand this. Is Ghost Roaster a ghost whose main function is to roast or just some dude who roasts primarily ghosts? Someone better clear this up or I'll take my money elsewhere.

Funny thing about the 3DS demo stations at this year's and last year's E3: they were mobile. And I don't mean they were attached to rolling podiums. Nintendo hired a bunch of girls to walk around the floor with 3DS units fast...
