Not content with Tom Clancy getting all of the action, Sierra Entertainment and Ludlum Entertainment are teaming up to release
Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game will be based upon the universe of Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne, popularized in a number of novels and the popular
Bourne films, starring Matt Damon.
The third-person espionage action game is being developed by High Moon Studios, who should be working on another Darkwatch, but instead are focused on bringing Ludlum's characters and universe to life on next-gen consoles.
"We are not just basing a game on Ludlum's franchise," said Peter Della Penna, president of High Moon Studios, "We are building upon the universe he introduced with The Bourne Identity. Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy is our installment to the series and is meant to reside on its own within the Bourne entertainment library.”
Bourne entertainment library indeed -- five books, three movies, and one mini-series, the cashflow is strong with the Bourne universe. High Moon and Sierra will reveal more about Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy at this year's E3. I hope that also involves coffee and cake, because I'm going to be hungry.

Did I miss the joke?
