That'd be sweet.
I jest. He will be missed. Because the MW3 hit-detection sucks ass!
I jest. He will find better work at EA with the rest of his former team members.
I jest. He burned that bridge a long time ago when he decided to take the money and stayed with Infinity Ward.
So the final rat has left the sinking ship, eh? ;D
I bet you didn't play the single player campaign in MW3.
I didn't myself, but at least i'm not saying it wasn't a good game.
i guess only original member of IW is the janitor left now
Battlefield, however, continues to amaze me, and I'm real glad I purchased BF3.
Also, I find it fucking hilarious how much hate Activision still gets to this day, even though EA and Ubisoft are clearly fucking this industry in the ass right now, not Acti-Bliz.
Wait, what are we talking about?
Talent? The guy used to be the Community Relations Manager. A glorified forum admin(no offense <3) and when the actual developers left to form Respawn Entertainment, he the money that was being withheld from Vince Zampella and Jason West and became "Creative Strategist."
What is a creative strategist? "An outline of what message should be conveyed, to whom, and with what tone. This provides the guiding principles for copywriters and art directors who are assigned to develop the advertisement. Within the context of that assignment, any ad that is then created should conform to that strategy."
So he takes the advertising orders from higher ups and gives them to the lower lifeforms. The guy was simply the "community face" of Call of Duty, nothing more.
Also, caulks.
I'm still waiting for that inevitable "Infinity Ward shuts down" news. Gotta be happening sooner than later.
lol at everybody making it out like he's actually making the games.
You do realise that being part of the Call Of Duty Franchise makes him effectively worse than satan right?.
Forget about the fact that Bowling is more accomplished in his chosen field than anyone who posts on this forum will ever be, forget about the fact that he's got enough money to purchase most of you and your families, forget about the fact that he was the creative director for the greatest selling video game of all time...
He worked on CoD so the haters come out and do the only thing they're actually good at: hate on someone better than them.
Good for him for leaving, as it sounds like he did so on his own accord and in sound mind, and I wish him well, but I expect the same COD game everyone played last year to be on the shelves this year.. and next year.. and the year after.
