River City Ransom: Underground funded

In its final days, the Kickstarter campaign for River City Ransom: Underground was funded. Despite sincere enthusiasm for the property and what looks to be a more-than-capable team handling development, I wasn't so sure this one would make it. Happy to see my doubts were for nothing and RCR is alive and well in 2013. Nicely done, all.

There's still time left for stretch goals to be funded, including Mac and Linux support at $205,000 CAD -- that seems within reach at the current pace of contributions. Further down the list, there are goals for PS4, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, Xbox One, and PS3 versions of Underground.

Best of all, Abobo of Double Dragon fame is going to have a cameo in the game. That's happening for sure and isn't dependent on a certain amount of funding. It's the Abobo way.

Kyoto Wild is a quick but thoughtful Bushido brawler
