Time to boot up your Japanese PSN accounts, ladies and gentlemen -- the hit fighter Rival Schools is now available on the Japanese storefront. For those who aren't in the know, Rival Schools was created by Capcom in the late 90s, and was one of the most enjoyable fighting games of all time.
The Playstation version was especially cool, because it came with two discs (each with different modes), which allowed my friends and I to borrow and trade them constantly -- this was before this thing called an "online pass" existed. Speaking of modes -- this game had a ton of them. A full fledged story mode, mini-games, and a handful of arcade options topped off this package to the point where even a solo player had enough to keep them busy.
Long story short, if you have access to a Japanese PSN account, I'd highly recommend picking this one up. As for a localization? Considering how much trouble Capcom had to go through for even the Japanese version, I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon.
