Rift celebrates two years with carnival and free weekend
Rift is celebrating its two-year anniversary in style with an in-game carnival. Players will get to attend the "Carnival of the Ascended" and participate in events to unlock new mounts and masks to wear. This carnival is part of a bigger patch, 2.2, that also brings a new PvP Warfront mode, more Planer Attunement tiers, and other new items and collectibles. From March 21 until April 4 current subscribers will get a 20% increase to guild XP, kill XP, prestige, favor, planarite, dungeon currency, and zone event currency. And if you haven't played in a while, everyone will be able to play for free from March 21 to March 25. If you have no idea what Rift is, it's a pretty neat massively-multiplayer online game, and you can play up to level 20 for free, which you should totally go do. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.

6:30 PM on 03.28.2013 Preview: Eador: Masters of the Broken WorldGames like Eador: Masters of the Broken World are extremely bad for my health. Considering my tobacco and alcohol consumption, it's not a stretch to say I have something of an addictive personality. Thankfully, I live in Scot...
