Ridge Racer Slipstream to hit mobile devices this month

11:30 AM on 12.04.2013

It's not the next-gen Ridge Racer I wanted, but  we'll take what we can get. Namco Bandai has announced that mobile racer Ridge Racer Slipstream will come to the App Store and Google Play this month.

Expect a full Career Mode as well as a few different types of Arcade modes. Crashing into both mobile and tablet devices, Slipstream brings 20 tracks and new music, as well as vehicle mods. Namco Bandai says that a mutiplayer mode is coming in an update soon.

Check out the new trailer. I think the car models look nice and HD, but let's hope that the final framerate will look a bit better than what the video shows. It's downright scary in some parts of this video.

Look, Namco Bandai. I'll check this out if you promise that a console version is coming. Deal?
