As someone who has watched an inordinate amount of cartoons, from childhood well into adulthood, Regular Show and Adventure Time are the first to make me feel really old and out of touch. I just don't get it.

Sorry I'm being a little close minded there. Who am I to judge what's acceptable to love? Animals have the right to love too. If you want to make love to a horse that's okay so long as it's of age, and it's mutual, then I say go for it. I for one applaud your progress thinking and hope you do your part in alleviating the horse-man-love stigma. This world would be a better place if we had more horse-fuckers like you.

The thing that maes me prefer MLP over Adventure Time/Regular Show is that it is entirely uncynical. Regular Show and Adventure Time have this underlying darkness/adult tone to them that makes them feel almost slightly hateful, an example is how in one episode of Adventure time there is an evil wizard who declares that he's just a jerk and then leaves. That's funny and all, but MLP manages to be funny in a very wholesome way, without directly separating its audience.
Also, Adventure Time is very much a sit-coms that revels more in its situations than its characters, MLP and Regular Show do a great deal more in the character department, in fact I'd say MLP was one of the strongest character lead comedies I;ve ever seen (series 1 at least, series 2 has been... less so).

I think the only reason why I don't like Adventure Time is that it acts a little too hipsterish at times. And Tumblr doesn't make that any better.

I checked out the game on Cartoon Network's site. Controlling the game with a mouse is so damn annoying. You'd expect mouse acceleration to work with you in a game that has you using the mouse to move your characters. Unfortunately, Mordecai and Rigby only reach the location I moved to about a second later, when I'm trying to take down a zombie. Plus, 2D games on 3D planes have always annoyed me, because you can't exactly tell if you're going to hit the enemy or not. This game is a little more lenient about it than most games, but I still found myself missing the enemies several times simply by not being on the same plane as them, none of which felt like my fault.
Still, probably controls better on iOS.

I think nearly all children's cartoon these days are shit. For most of them there is no continuity or on going storyline, just random shit happening for no logical reason. At least with some oldies like Courage it had it's own twisted logic but shit like Regular Show, Adventure Time and MLP it feels so souless. And Young Justice is crap too.
The only shows I like: Thundercats and TF:Prime. They just the right thing.
