I just got mine in the mail (while playing Master Quest, strangely enough). I remember having the old soundtrack for vanilla Ocarina and it had pretty much the same content. The lack of Orchestrated versions (fuck that Kakariko track. It's just the SNES version!) cheeses me off, but the soundtrack is still fantastic.
Can't wait to get my copy and get my Forest Temple on. I already have the hyrule symphony orchestra soundtrack for the original game, but I really wanted the original music.
just makes you wish for the other orchestrated soundtrack for zelda's 25th anniversary. They could have very well just have orchestrated ocarina of time as well, it's THAT GOOD.

Just got mine. The outside of the jewel case was slightly cracked, and the little knob that holds the disc inside was also missing most of its spokes. The little blurbs written on the inside by Miyamoto and Kondo aren't really worth reposting. When I ripped the CD to my Zune player, all of the album info was in Japanese, so I had to enter the song names in English manually. The disc contains most of the original soundtrack, but is missing many shorter tracks like Open Treasure Box, Item Catch, Ingo's Theme, and Mini Game. The only new track is End Credits 2, which is fucking amazing and one of my new favorite Zelda pieces.

I thought getting that CD was only a first day thing, or are they just giving them out to anyone who registers their game now?
I'm waiting for mine to come in so I can never open it and sell it to some crazed Zelda fans for $50 in the future.

@AllenR Nope, they ran out in a few days. I'm sure plenty will show up on eBay, but unless you're a diehard collector, there's really nothing you're missing out on here. It's pretty easy to get your hands on the original soundtrack, with all of the stuff missing from this one, and burn it to a CDR. And you can download the second End Credits from Youtube.
@AllenR Sorry, but you can't. Nintendo set a definite date on the last chance to get them. I believe it was the Thursday after the game was released. Even if that date is wrong, the window was very small and has been closed for a long time. Sorry.
My dad's mother's sister's daughter's cousin's brother works for Nintendo and he said that Ocarina of Time's soundtrack is nowhere near as awesome as Wind Waker's.
Does it have the new, crappy Fire Temple music or the old, awesome one? That was one of my favorite songs in the game, damn you Nintendo for giving in to political correctness and taking it out!
I imported my copy of Zelda Ocarina of Time from America, so I probably cant claim mine. I would give it to somebody else but I'm a douchebag sooo... yeah, no.
