The RetroN 3 gaming system tries to do it all. There's three cartridge slots in this 3-in-1 system: Super Nintendo, NES, and Sega Genesis. And on three of the four sides of the system you'll find a set of two ports for each system's original controllers. If you don't have any of those original controllers, you can play games on the included wireless controllers, which look to be total rip-offs of the six-button Sega Genesis controller. Nice!
A three-way switch on the front lets you select which "system" you want to play. I love that you could have it loaded up with three different games and then just switch between them.
According to engadget, this system is now available for $70, in both red and black.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
"NOACs tend to poorly recreate the NES system's circuitry, which causes inaccurate colors, inaccurate audio, missing sounds, additional glitches, and the inability to run certain NES and Famicom games."
All Famiclones run off of NOAC. It's just not worth it...
Also, try and buy these off of ebay or at a Play n' Trade brand new. You'll get like $10 - $15 off because that $70 price is only for people not buying in bulk!
The only one I still have is Gunstar Heroes..
It plays all my retro games in good quality. There's no controller problems like past systems, no noticeable sound problems like the rings in sonic, etc.
Only problem I've noticed is in Super Mario Bros. Mario has a thin white line around his body which obviously isn't a big deal.

i dont have the controller ports but the wii controller for NES and classic controller for others does the job just fine
Also, hate to say, but that thing is hideous.
Sega CD is my jam, I just replayed VAY. Working Designs was the best, too bad they had to end.
Um, no. The pad is not modeled after the 360 controller. It is modeled after the 6 button Genesis controller which is actually really kick ass. Was fantastic for SF2, back in the day, and the predecessor for the dog bone Saturn controller, which was also VERY good.
har-har-har
"I shit things that look better than that."
Oh sure, but can you play games with them?!
Wait, don't answer that!
