Valentine's day is right around the corner, (don't say we didn't warn you) so we thought we'd take a look at some of the best and worst couples in gaming history. From Mr. & Ms. Pac Man to Mario and Peach, there's been a lot of love; be it the classic romance or the unspoken feelings between a hero and sidekick. (Link and Navi? C'mon, don't kid yourself. She wanted him.)

But seriously, I think some of the best videogame couples ever were in Chrono Trigger. Off the top of my head, you had Crono and Marle because they're the leading man and woman, Ayla and her boyfriend because Ayla was so strong and her boyfriend tried hard to be strong for her, Lucca's parents, and finall Rob and that girl Rob.
And Slick, this is RETROforce go. Those games don't make the cut, sadly.
Definitely Gordon/Alex. Even though they haven't been a couple yet, they will be: you watch. They're gonna be, like, the last couple left alive after some huge catastrophe, and nobody's complaining about "But I watched her grow up!" this and "We've been through too much together" that when there's babymaking to be done.
Oh, and not to forget the relationship between Tio and Mareg...

Anju and Kefei from Zelda: Majora's Mask! You remember that one, right? You had to do a 3 day long side quest with Kefei the masked guy and Anju the Hotel girl, and at the end they finally meet again despite Kefei being in child form. Then the world starts to end...that was beautiful. Best Zelda ever <3
