Thanks everybody for tuning in last week to RetroforceGO!: Destructoid's very own retro style podcast!
In this week's episode, the RFGO! crew is joined by Aaron Linde (or as we call him around the office: Lord Exceot, Destroyer of Worlds), as we continue to dole out the merits of this week's DLC. Of course, you'll also be given your weekly does of rage with Reverend Anthony's RevRant as he gives you the lowdown on Spiderman 3 for the Wii. Afterwards, the rest of crew finishes off the show by making animal noises in the hopes of sounding intelligent. Should be fun!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
On metroid prime, I don't think it's an FPS. FPSes involve aiming at things, metroid exclusively uses a lock on function, so it just doesn't qualify in my book. I regard it as a first person adventure. Also, while it is absolutely beautiful, with a lot of good points, and probably as successful a transition to 3d as is possible, I still think 2d metroid pisses all over it.
For linearity vs. openness, I'm good either way. As long as the game is well designed, and never just leaves you flailing in the dark, or completely constricted to an unnecessarily rigid path, I'm good. I don't care what a game looks like, what system it's on, how old it is or what the general opinion of it is as long as it's fun. I'll play anything. I'm disappointedly though that another episode went by, with another mention of okami, and yet still no love for god hand. What's up with that?
Rev's rant shows improvement too. Could still use some trimming, but still good stuff.
Thanks for the love folks!
