RetroforceGO! episode 92: E3 09 photo

Happy Friday, listeners. This week we discussed all the things that pleased and displeased us about this year's E3. We also laughed a lot and talked about pancakes, because that's in our job description. Fun fact for the RFGO edition of Trivial Pursuit. Highlights?

  • E3 = Work.
  • What does Dyson think of the new Metroid?
  • New Zelda: Not Wind Waker style.
  • Stop waving it, we don't wanna see it.
  • Bonus: if you listen closely, you can hear me facepalming.
  • Scribblenauts: Amazing.
As always, you can subscribe to us on iTunes to get the show early or go here to get it late. Way late. Like booted from the cool kids' table late. Enjoy, and we'll be back next week, one show closer to episode 100.

Toon Link is the greatest character design ever.
I wonder what would happen if Toon Link, Kirby and Starfy had a cross over game. It would be a cuteness/awesome overload.

I think that Warner Bros. should advertise Scribblenauts with links to Destructoid. Inevitably there would be something within 5 randoms clicks about how amazing that game is going to be.

It sounds like it will be hilarious to go to gamefaqs after Scibblenauts is released

I find it strange, that everything with a retro franchise title is considered retro flavored.

Still this was a pretty fun episode.

If I got a DS and Scribblenauts was the only game I ever bough for it, would it be worth the price?

If I wear a blazer and a t-shirt, can I come write for you?

Okay, don't be mad at me Topher, but I don't really listen to RFGo! that often. So maybe this is like, established for regular listeners, but I desperately require that chiptune jam from the end of the show. Holy crap what was that.

Great episode. I know what you guys mean about E3 being hard work. I literally did not try a single game despite doing e3 related work for the past 4 weeks. I did get to meet the designer of Okami though, so it was definitely worth the hustle.
