RetroforceGO! Episode 82: The NES photo

Happy Friday, listeners! And happy birthday to Phist, who probably doesn't listen to the show anymore, but I'll say it anyway. This week's show is about the Nintendo Entertainment System, and it's about time. Highlights include:

  • MC Scrappy C
  • Nintendo: What happened?
  • Chad's golden locks
  • R.O.B. was awesome! No, he wasn't.
  • KA-CHANG
  • The Color Dream is a lie
  • T&C bracelets

Subscribe to us on iTunes to get the show early or check it out right here. We won't be around next week because Chad, Dyson and Colette will be rocking Dtoid's 3-year anniversary extravaganza, but we'll be back the following week with more nonsense. Enjoy!

Seriously, though, great show! This is one of my favorite first segments ever. I especially like Collette's WiiWare review- HELL YEAH!

Next week drunken hamza should be the host, episode ends when hamza passes out. You could even make it a contest with people guessing how long the episode would be :).

A little fun fact about The Color Dream, aka Wisdom Tree, they made a game for the SNES that wasn't licensed by Nintendo so it was locked out and it found a way to avoid the lock out, by placing another SNES game into it, A company that made religious games found a way to hack into the SNES...Fishy

During the early days of Nintendo Power, they had a promotion where if you subscribed for a year, you got a free copy of Dragon Warrior.

I do have to say that I probably spent more time playing Dragon Warrior than I did any other game on the NES. In fact whenever I think of the NES, I can't help but think "A Slime draws near, Command?"

One more thing guys, please read my last blog to see why I used Channel 4. Is that a good enough reason? I thought it was.
