And damn you guys, now I have to go out and buy a copy of NiGHTS with that funky controller. I think that Hamza has one in his shop.
-A couple notes: I kinda liked having Claris and Elliot in the game, it kinda provided a link to the dreaminess of it. If there wasn't some kind of "real-world" to compare it to, I think it might have been a little weaker overall. But that's just me.
-Even as a fan of the Dreamcast controller that "3d controller" mess was awful. I couldn't play anything with it.
-You mentioned that you could play as Sonic as a special mode in Christmas NiGHTS. Did you know that, since it predated Sonic Jam, Christmas NiGHTS is the first game in which you can control the hedgehog in a full 3D enviroment? Basically, it's the first 3D sonic game :P. Just a little fun fact.
Also, I was wondering if any of you have read the 2 3-issue miniseries Archie Comics released based on NiGHTS? The first one set an interpritation of the events of the game, and the second set was an original stories. They were pretty turrible, but I was just pondering that.
Sorry for such a wall of text, especially so many days after the podcast came out (I'm slow on these things :( ), but I couldn't help but comment anyways. Thanks again for this, well, I guess I could call it an early christmas present :).
