Welcome to the last Monday of 2007, folks. Did you have a good year? Did you get everything that you wanted? Did you accomplish all the things that you planned for yourself over the last year? Yeah, me neither. But at least your friends here at RFGO! can manage to accomplish putting out more shows while the world gets ready to overconsume cheap champagne and make hollow promises of self improvement.
Highlights!
- Spongebob Squarepants Poetry Slam, more pretentious than Underpants Slam
- Less Rev Rant, but way more Rev
- I might be getting an angry email from a famous developer
So that wraps up a whole year, folks. We're really glad that we made it to the end of 2007 without crashing or burning (especially in the Paraguayan plane crash of Rev's design) and that the show has become more fun than a barrel of Chad Concelmos on Nitrous Oxide. 10. Download Megaman 2 from VC.
And being a self declared Nintendo fan, yeah... I also hated Twilight Princess. I see it as the Resident Evil 4 of Zelda games: awesome gameplay, until you realize all you are doing has no sense. And the Ganon fight was totally useless.
The Metroid Prime vote wasn' bad either. Metroid Prime 2 sucked, Metroid Prime 3 was great, but more action oriented than soft paced (the only thing that kept me until the end was the awesome controls... but all the voiceover really runed it all).
But Metroid Prime for the GC was a truly masterpiece.
At least better than all those Haloz.
He loses cool points for saying Metroid Prime games suck.

But I totally played (and beat) Actraiser for the first time last night, and that was awesome.
Okay, I know I'm late to the party, but here goes.
My New Year's Retrolution: I want to finally finish Chrono Trigger, FFIV or FFVI. I have never finished any of them. I get bored halfway through them, then stop, then when I go to play it again, forget where I'm up to, then just say "fuck it" and start again.
My latest is with BioShock, i've started the game 3 times then get bored and forget wtf I was doing or where I was at and just start over. Same with Far Cry and replaying through Chrono Trigger and Zelda: Mask of Majora, I have a lot of fun playing through them but then just get bored and just don't go back.
Just taste I guess... I couldn't stop playing 'Naruto: Rise of a Ninja", 'Mass Effect' or 'Assassins Creed' or 'CoD4: Modern Warfare(including a lot of multiplayer achievments)' until completion. All are considered average or above by all, and by most gamers games like BioShock and ChronoTrigger are considered better games but for some reason I couldn't STOP playing those other games until completion.
Personal taste I guess.
But using BioShock as the example, I love the game but have no desire to finish it right now, I dunno.
BTW: Buy Naruto: Rise of a Ninja because it was too short and I NED MOAR.
Always remember that Vigo watches.
Chad will get Rez on XBLA. That is a week of win for XBLA.
